The Journey Forward
Dear Echo Breaker,
Healing is not linear. It doesn’t follow a straight upward path. Some days you’ll feel free, laughing easily, full of hope. Other days, grief or triggers will pull you back into the shadows. That doesn’t mean you’re failing — it means you’re human.
Healing is a spiral. You revisit old pain, but each time from a stronger place. You circle back, but with new tools, new perspective, new resilience.
The journey forward is not about becoming someone else. It’s about returning to yourself — the version of you that existed before the abuse, and the version that’s been strengthened by surviving it.
Don’t measure your progress by how fast you’re going. Measure it by how often you return to yourself. By how many times you choose peace instead of chaos. By how willing you are to keep walking, even when it’s hard.
🌱 Your healing isn’t ahead of you — it’s already happening inside you. Your story is not over. It is only unfolding.
If this resonated, you’re not alone — reach out to explore coaching with me.
